Feilding Boy Scouts
A successful concert was held by the Feilding Boy Scouts and Cubs at the Manchester Street School quad ou Wednesday evening. Tho District Commissioner (Mr. N. D. Stubbs) extended a welcome to those present and expresssed his pleasure at seeing such a large audience. On behalf of Viscount Galway, Mr. Stubbs presented warrants to Scouters A. Patterson (scoutmaster), A. Hayward, L. Turner, W. Low, R. Delacey, Miss M. Milner (cubmistress), Miss N. Mills (assistant cubmistress). He also presented the Tui Patrol with a handsome shield given by Mr. Patterson, of Wanganui, for competition in the local troop. Miss D. Young, of Wellington Street, Feilding, presented a token polo to the Kowhai Cub Pack on behalf of her father, Mr. R. E. Young, and herself, in remembrance of her late sister, Miss I. Young. An apology for absence was received from Miss N. Wilson, Dominion leader of the Cub movement.

Maclaurin, D. lllston, R. Crooks, J. Maclaurin, D. Holt, B. Barrett. The programme was a varied one and included a display of building a signal stand and flag pole.
