In connection with the visit of 14 rinks from the Hawke’s Bay Centre to Palmerston North to-day, the visitors will be extended a welcome on the Palmerston North green at 9.45 a.m. by Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., president of the Manawatu centre. Six rinks will then proceed to the Northern green and the remaining eight to Manawatu, where they will be extended welcomes by Messrs. J. C. Young and R. H. Billfcns respectively. Rinks from the following clubs will meet the visitors:— Northern green: Palmerston North (2 rinks), Northern, Dannevirke, Takaro, Feilding. Manawatu green: Pahiatua, Manawatu (2 rinks), Palmerston North, Takaro, Hokowhitu, Terrace End, Woodville.
