COMMUNIST SPIES IN U.S. NAVAL YARD

Maurice Maffcin, a charter member cf the United States Communist Party testified to-day before the Dies Committee investigating unAmerican activities, that the party has nuclei in the Brooklyn naval yard, one of the largest in the United States, which has been transmitting secret information to the Soviet for years through an Ogpu located in New York in the same way as information relating to industrial plants. Malkin testified that the Communist Party employed many New York gangsters. such as Blacklegs Diamond, to eliminate recalcitrant persons or groups.
