Anti-British Propaganda Among Arabs
UNTRUTHFUL GERMAN BROADCASTS RUGBY, July 24. Answering a Commons question, Air. j R. A. Butler (Under-Secretary for | Foreign Affairs) said it was unfortu- • nately true that much propaganda of I au anti-British nature is published in the German Arabic broadcasts and much inaccurate information especially regarding Palestine, but they do not appear to contain any direct incitement to violence. Mr. Butler said tho 8.8. C. had broadcast denials of the worst of these allegations, which W’Cro fundamentally' untrue, but ho did not think a direct approach to Germany would be likely to achieve desirable results.
