Good Crossbred Selection Offered

LONDON, July 25. At the wool sales, 7580 bales were offered, including 3749 New Zealand, 6377 bales being sold. There was a good selection of crossbreds but a poor selection of merinos, which were mostly re-offerings and were frequently withdrawn. New Zealand quotations are:— Slipe crossbred combing, lambs: Feilding 9d. to 14$d. Scoured halfbred fleece: “Wairua,” 14Jd to 17id. Scoured crossbred: “N.Z.W.M A.,” 13d to 16d.
