BOWLERS ON TOP Bcv.’cs Takes Seven Wickets for 46 (T»y Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) LONDON, July 25. The second cricket Test between England and West Indies, played at Manchester, resulted in a draw. West Indies, continuing their first innings, were all out for 133. Eng land declared their second innings closed with 128 for the loss of six wickets, and West Indies replied with 43 runs for four. If .England had declared at tea, the / might have won the match, and tl e 50 minutes saved would have been pr >- v *'.bly sufficient for England’s bowlers, all of whom had the West Indies in trouble. The crowd was restless at the slow scoring. Even Hammond was uninspiring, but the bowling was excellent. Bowes bowled finely in both innings. Scores:— WEST INDIES. First Innings.
