No Munich for the Far East
CHUNGKING, July 24. Marshal Chiang Kai-shek said: “I am convinced there can be no Far Eastern Munich." He added: “It is incredible that Britain is really compromising with Japan." China was calmly confident of destroying the enemy. She would maintain the value of the national currency and supply foreign exchange.
