Six Motorists Injured
VAN AND CAR IN HEAD-ON COLLISION Per Press Association. MASTERTON, July 24. A head-on collision between a motorvan and a car on the Waingawa bridge near Masterton at L2O p.m. yesterday resulted in six people being more or less injured. The victims were admitted to hospital. They are:— EDGAR HENDERSON, of Tewhiti, aged 23, single; fairly serious head injuries. KENNETH WELCH, junr., Makora Road, Masterton; fractured wrist. Taken home. HENRY PIPER, of Featherston, driver of the van; injuries to head. —. BECKETT, Masterton, passenger in the van; head injuries and shock. EDWARD BUICK HENDERSON, driver of the car, and JAMES HERBERT HENDERSON, of Tewhiti, passengers in the car; slight head injuries.
