LONDON PRICES MAINTAINED United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, July 21. At the wool sales 6933 bales were offered, including 5645 from New Zealand. A total of 6305 was sold. There was a moderate selection, being chiefly crossbreds, which met with an active demand at recent rates. Slipes are now only 5 per cent, above last series closing rates, and these lower levels met with a better demand, especially from Yorkshire. The following prices represent the lowest and highest obtained for New Zealand offerings:—Slipe, halfbred, combing lambs, crossbred, combing lambs, Canterbury, 10g and 14id.
