Basketball Club's Dance The hall presented a festive sight on Tuesday evening, when the basketball club h©ld their annual ball. Streamers ot red . and white, balloons and greenery made a bright setting for the many dancers. The supper-room was in blue and y allow, and the tables decorated with yellow marigolds and black streamers, the basketball club's colours. Dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by a pro-fe-s.-ional orchestra, while Mr. J. Dench and Mr. K. Cotton carried out tho duties of -M’s.C. A spot waltz was won by Miss A. Christensen and Mr. B. Doyle, and the luckv Gay Gordons by Miss D. Christensen 'and Mr. R. Waller. Among those present were Mrs. Procter (president), in blue velvet; Miss K. Music for dancing was supplicu by Mr. Tui Carter. Mr. R. Craig presented the prizes to the winners of th© cards, who were: Ladies, Mrs. Fuller, Mrs. R I Harvey (consolation); men, Mr. .T.
