Deceased was a son of HiWcUia Paurin; lotnerwise known as Corbett;, a Ivghlyrespecied member of the Native race in Halcombe. Joseph Paurini was born li. ToKorangi, where lie received his education. lie married Tema Winiata, Ot Levin, at wlucn place he resided up to tli-* time ot his cieath. Deceased was wellknown in Jriaioomoe and his eariy demise* came as a snock to his many friends, IK leaves a widow and lour children, ant much sympathy goes out to tne bereaved.
