Colourful Scenes at Successful A. and P. Bali
GOOD ATTENDANCE AT ANNUAL GATHERING Youth answered the call of the attractions of the annual ball of the Woodville A. and P. Association which was held successfully on Thursday evening. There was throughout the evening a good crowd upon the floor. The kaleidoscopic movement of couples swinging in a waltz presented constant variations of bright colour which were emphasised by the gold, silver, red and green foliage of the stage decorations, the whole being set oil against the buff backgrounds of the walls and curtains. Flanked with bright trellises and with the back colourfully decorated, tlic stage made an attractive setting for the popular dance band, which played for the programme. A delicious buffet supper was served this having been prepared during the day by tho following ladies: Alesdames R. H. Alorgan, E. R. Johnston, H. D. Lovell, J. T. Horne and Alisses M. Peebles and M.
