On Wednesday members of tho Herrington Golf Club, Foxton, were entertained by Palmerston North ladies at the Awatapu links, when a very enjoyable match was x j^a y Following are tho detailed results, Foxton players being mentioned first: — Mrs. M. B. Bergin lost to Mrs. D. H. Cook. Mrs. S. E. Crawford lost to Mrs. E. Wilson. Miss A. Neylon halved with Mrs. E. Simpson. Miss G. Newton defeated Mrs. J. B. Curd. Mrs. H. Hannay defeated Miss R. McMurray. Mrs. T. V. Crotty defeated Mrs. n. Bayley. Mrs. R. Robinson defeated Mrs. T. McPhee. Airs. W. Smith lost to Mrs. T. K. F raser. Miss M. Spiers halved with Mrs. W. Montgomery. Miss P. Smith lost to Mrs. M. L, Styche. Mrs. Kane halved with Mrs. R. Hopwood. Miss D. Middleton lost to Miss J. Gaustad. The first eight pairs playod a fourball and.the results are as follow: Mesdames Bergin and Crawford lost to Mesdames Cook and Wilson. Misses Neylon defeated Mesdames Simpson and Curd. Mesdames Hannay and Clotty defeated Mesdames McMurray and Bayley.
Mesdames Robinson and Smith lost to Mesdames McPhee and Fraser.
