Cosy Theatre, Woodville

“Radio City Revels" and “Danger Patrol" will be screened at the Cosy tonight and tomorrow at 7.45 p.m. Hit songs by two of Hollywood’s bestknown composers, Herb Magidson and Allie Wrubel, and an hilarious and ingenious story plot that blends comedy, romance and novelty in sparkling fashion, all feature RKO Radio’s new offtring, ‘ 1 Radio City Revels.'' Such noted stars as Bob Burns, Ja<Jk Oakie, Kenny Baker, Ann Miller, Victor Moore, Helen Broderick and Milton Berle top the cast of tht film, in which most of the action takes place in and around New York's amusement centre, Radio City. Jane Froman, Buster West, Melissa Mason and Hal Kemp and his, orchestra are among the specialty performers. Women who can do nothing but wait while their men folk are engaged in hazardous occupations, suffer much more than the men themselves according to “Danger Patrol," new RKO Radio film melodrama. The picture tells a gripping story of the professional handlers of high explosives, men working under the constant shadow of death, and contends that the women's task of waiting at home while the men are on assignment is far more nerve gripping than doing the actual work. Sally Eilers, John Beal and Harry Carey head a largo chat, with Ed. Gargan, Solly Ward, Frank M. Thomas and Richard Lane prominent in the supporting company. These two features present an ideal double-bill programme and attending patrons will bo well satisfied with the excellent entertainment value.
