HUNTER STILL MISSING

Losl Over a Week Near Ruatoria

(From Our Own Correspondent) GISBORNE, July 10.

Despite the continued efforts of the searchers, no trace has been found of Dave Campbell, the 22-year-old single Maori, who was one of a party of three men lost on Mount Hikurangi, near Ruatoria, over a week ago. Mr. Campbell’s companions were able to find their way back to their camp and report that the third member of the party was missing. Mr. Campbell has been lost on the exposed slopes of the mountain for a week. The weather has remained fine and assisted the search-party in this respect, but it" is feared that their efforts will be of no avail.
