SCOTTISH INGLESIDE Tho popularity of the Manawatu Scottish Society's inglesides was again shown on Saturday night, when there was a large gathering at the Cosmopolitan Hall, including visitors from Tauranga and Oamaru. Piper R. Matheson was M.C. and an extra waltz, played by Piper C. Pilcher, gave mucl pleasure. P. AND T. SOCIAL CLUB The P. and T. Social Club held the first of its monthly danedg Inst Thursday night. The function was held in the Orange Hall and #as due of tfc* most successful held by the club. Tht committee responsible for the excellent programme consisted of Messrs Wood ham, Gerrie, Taylor and Patterson, Mia. Woodham and Mrs. Taylor. Mr. V. Btagpoolo presented the tabloid sports trophies to tho captains of the successful teams, Miss F. Dalgleish (Public I:c: vice) and W. B. Honey (Post Office).
