Senate Election

SOUTH AFRICAN EVENT CAPETOWN, May 15. Forty of the 44 members of the Union Senate will relinquish their seats on September 5. Their successors will be elected late in October, will the exception of the eight fo be nominated by the Governor-General-in-Coulioil. The only Senators who will not be affected will bo the four elected as direct representatives of the natives.
