G-men took into custody Sean Russell, reputedly one of the leaders of the outlawed Irish Republican Army, and are reported to be holding him incommunicado. Russell has been touring the United States making speeches. Extraordinary secrecy surrounded the affair, the Government men refusing to discuss the case. It is significant that Russell was arrested on the eve of the scheduled arrival of the King and Queen at Windsor (Ontario) across the River Detroit.
