Wisden Cup Badminton
WAIKATO BEATS TARANAKI Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Waikato beat Taranaki by nine games to seven in the first Wisden Cup badminton match of the season on Saturday. Taranaki won all the men’s singles and Waikato won all the women’s singles. The men’s and women’s doubles were halved and the match was decided on the combined doubles.
