Savage Club for Folding

The movement on foot in Feilding to form a Savage Club was advanced a further step recently, when an enthusiastic meeting was held, those present forming themselves into a provisional committee to further the project. Members who had attended the Rovers in Palmerston North reported that the club there was a very enthusiastic one and they would assist in any way possible to further the idea in Feilding. A Savage Club in the town would be a decided asset to the social side of the community and it is hoped that the efforts of enthusiasts will be effective.
