Misa J. V. Fulford, who was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Patterson, “ Kiverslea, 7 ' Woodville, has returned to Havelock North. Mrs. U. Williams, of Waipukurau, and her sou, Mr. T. 8. Williams, of Dunedin, and also Mr. H. Berry, of Wellington, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Martin, of Papatawa. Misses I. and M. Larcoiu, of Hawera, who have been staying with Mr. and Mrs. J. 8. Patterson, “Kiverslea,” for the Court-Patterson wedding, are now the guests of Mrs. J. 8. Nelson, “Roseneatb,” Papatawa. * The death occurred at Woodville yesterday morning of Mr. K. C. Tcnuent, of McLeau Btreet, in his 90tli year. He was lor many years manager of the Bank of New .South Wales in different centres. At the Wanganui Collegiate School sports on Faster Monday, K. I'. Mackie, son of Mr. I. W. N. Mackie (Waipukurau), broke a 32-year-old school record by throwing a cricket ball 111 yards 7 inches. The previous record was set by E. E. H. Gilbert in 1907, of 110 yards 6 inches.
