Bombs on Bridge

TWO MEN CHARGED United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. LONDON, April 13. William Browne, aged 22, and Edward Connell, aged 22, were charged at Bow .Street with causing the explosion ou Hammersmith Bridge which is stated to have caused £3OOO worth of damage. Both men were committed for trial.

Two time bombs exploded on Hammersmith Bridge early on the morning of March 29, blowing away part of the ' superstructure in the centre of the 1 bridge. The explosions were heard over a wide area and over 100 windows in buildings in the neighbourhood were broken. Nobody was injured.
