As advertised in this issue, the Feilding Badminton Club will open their season on Tuesday evening next at 7 o’clock in the Feilding Drill Hall. A invitation is extended to players, while new members will be welcome.

The Feilding Ladies’ Golf Club’s opening day will be h«id on Thursday next, when the 1939 season will be officially opened. The usual foursome competition will be played and members are asked to arrange their owu fours for the game. In connection with the Feilding Returned Soldiers’ Association’s annual luncheon on Anzac Day the ladies’ committee is again making an appeal this year for donations towards this and trust that the citizens of Feilding will be as generous as in past years with their gifts. Donations of money, fruit, cream, cakes, etc., will be very much appreciated by the committee and intending donors are requested to ring Mrs. A. H. Atkinson, ’phone 439, or Mrs. Buchanan, ’phone 490.
