Workman Injured

MINOR ACCIDENT ON VOGEL STREET

Mr. F. Ansin, of Woodville, who is employed by the contractors on the Vogel Street reconstruction, yesterday suffered a hand injury necessitating medical attention. A number of men were working fairly close together in a small area at the Community Stores corner and Ansin’s pick became entangled with another wielded by L. Pilcher, whose instrument gouged Ansin’s hand, penetrating the flesh between tho fingers. Tho wound, though painful, was not serious, although Ansin will be unable to work for some days.
