PAPATAWA SPORTS CLUB

Decision to Liquidate

BENEFIT TO KUMEROA AND WOODVILLE CLUBS

A decision to liquidate the assets of tho Papatawa Sports Club was made at a meeting of tho club held last Wednesday, w'hen the president, Mr. J. S. Nelson, presided over an attendance of more than a dozen members. The Papatawa Sports Club, which for some 17 years held meetings on Easter Monday, ceased operations during the slump. Tenders for the disposal of the club’s building are invited on this page. Wednesday’s meeting decided that when all assets have been liquiated the funds of the club be divided for the purchase of a trophy each for the Woodville Athletic and Kumeroa Sports Clubs, to be known as the Papatawa cups. This gesture will be greatly appreciated by the two clubs concerned.
