Professional Golfer’s Appointment

E. J. MOSS FOR MAUNGAKIEKIE Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The well-known professional golfer K J. Moss has been appointed professional to the Maungakiekio Golf Club. Moss has had a successful playing caroer. In 1921 he was runner-up to E. B. Douglas in both the New Zealand and open championships and on three occasions since then has won both events. He won the open in J 924, 1927 and 1933. He was professional champion for three successive years, 1923-25. Moss came to Auckland in 1920 and was attached to the Auckland Club for 16 years, during which period he had many brilliant rounds.
