THE ANNUAL MEETING The annual general meeting of St. Peter's Senior Girls' Club was held in St. Peter's Schoolroom on Wednesday evening, the vicar, Rev. K. F. Button, presiding over a good attendance of members. After the minutes of the previous annual meeting had been read and confirmed and the report and balance-sheet for the year ending February 28, 1939, had been adopted, the election of officers for the present year took place, the following being elected: President, Rev. K. F. Button; vice-presidents, Mrs. G. G. Taylor, Miss Gregorle, Miss Whittaker, Mrs. L. A. Truscott; leader, Miss D. Milne Allan; secretary, Miss P. Humphrey; committee. Misses E. Taylor, E Osborne, B. Boyd, Y. Wills and the leader, secretary and treasurer ex officio; hon. auditor, Mr. G. G. Taylor. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the hon. auditor, Mr. G. G. Taylor. After considerable discussion, It was decided to hold club nights every alternate Monday night at v p.m. It was decided to make a change in the subscription this year. To make it

easier for more new members to join up it was decided to make the subscription for those under 21 2s 6d and for those over that ago 4s instead of 3s 6d all round as previously. The question of whether a concert be staged this year was deferred until tho : end of March, 1
