NORTH v. SOUTH MATCH DRAWN On Tuesday night the annual match between the north and south section of the Bush Miniature Rifle Association, took place in the Pahiatua Drill Hall, the result being a tie, both sides scoring 1933 points. H. Ebbott and K. Prydo shot * 1 possibles’ * and thero were a number of 11 all-buts. 1, After supper Mr. C. R. Eddie, secretary of the associatiou, apologised for the unavoidable absence of the president, Mr, O. Stone, and presented the trophies won during the season. The Byrne Shield, won by Makomako, was presented to Mr. F . Ebbett, president of the Makomako Club. Mr. A. Tait received the championship cup and also Mr. VV. G. Rising *s trophy for the aggregate championship, while Mr. J. Day (Makomako) received the cup for the runner-up in the championship. The Daldy Shield for tne north v. south match was presented to 1 Mr. VV. G. Rising for the north team. I A vote of thanks to Mrs. C. R. Eddie and Mrs. R. VV.
