Values Firm at Sydney Wool Sales
STRONG CONTINENTAL COMPETITION
United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, Received Tuesday, 9.35 p.m. SYDNEY. Sept. 6. At the wool sales there was strong competition from the Continent and moderate support from Japan. The market was firm at opening rates. Greasy merino mado to 15Jd. The offering consisted of 9774 bales, of which 8730 were sold, also 558 privately.
