Funeral of the Late Mr. C. E. Meech
Many friends and sympathisers attended tlie funeral in Feilding yesterday, afternoon of tho late Mr. C. E. Meech, of tho staff of the Feilding telephone exchange. A service was held at St. John’s Anglican Church, by Archdeacon F. H. Petrie who also conducted the service at the graveside. A large number of floral tributes were received, including those from the staff of the Feilding Post Office, the Feilding Cricket Association and tho Public Service Cricket Club. Mr. A. Orr, postmaster, Feilding, together with members of the staff were present and representatives of the Chief Post Office at Palmerston North were also in attendance. The pall-bearers included intimate friends of the deceased as weli as officers of the Post and Telegraph Department.
Mrs. Meech and family, together with relatives, desire ,to express their sincere thanks to all who rendered assistance throughout tho illness of the late Mr. Meech; to the doctors and hospital staff for their unfailing attention, and to the many friends and sympathisers for the beautiful floral tributes and expressions of sympatny.
