The many friends of Mr. J. E. Barltrop, of Feilding, will regret to learn that he has had to enter hospital for treatment. Mr. C. E. Taylor, of Feilding, left on Monday night for a week's holiday in Rotorua. Mr. lv. W. Dalrymple, of Bulls, who yesterday addressed tho Feilding Civic Club on the subject of his recent trip to tho Yukon, last evening addressed the Feilding W.E.A. class. To-night (Wednesday) a concert and dance is being held in the Makino hall, under the auspices of the Makino Hall Committee. A professional orchestra has been engaged for the occasion, while popular prices of admission to the function will ensure a good attendance.
