TEST SELECTION METHOD CRITICISED Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Last Night. Criticism of the method of selecting tho New Zealand women’s hockey test teams this year was heard last night at a meeting of tho managers of the women’s teams attending the Dominion tournament and it was decided to recommend that in future New Zealand teams should be selected after the trials between the North Island and South Island teams.

A complaint was also made of the many new sticks failing to pass the test of the two-inch ring after being tested by dealers and it was decided to draw the attention of the Dominion Association to the point.
