It has beeu estimated that £3O worth of groceries, tobacco and cigarettes were stolen from the corner store, be longing to Mr. M. G. Bailey, at Hamua last Thursday. Mr. I/. Fraser, engineer to the Tararua Electric Power Board, has commenced a survey of the proposed route for the reticulation of the Akitio County.
