The biggest mock aerial war yet helo will start early to-day over a large slice of Eastern England. Simultaneously, there will be a biack-out of all towns and villages ever a large area south of Paris. Over 900 aircraft will participate in the English manoeuvres, extending along the coast from Thames to the Humber and about 150 miles inland, while 1700 members of anti-aircraft units, observers and searchlight units will be employed in ground defences. The exercises will continue without cessation for 48 hours or possibly longer, in which all branches of air defence
