Atlantic Crossing “Still a Mistake”
CORRIGAN WARMLY WELCOMED IN NEW YORK United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrlsht. Received Friday, 10 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 5. Still wearing the old brown jacket and grey trousers in which he flew, and still insisting that his Atlantic crossing was a mistake, Corrigan arrived in New York, where he was met by harbour ferries and launches, hlled with en> thusiastic Irish welcomers.
Corrigan declared: “I hope, if I make more mistakes, that they will turn out as successfully.’’
