Launching of the Queen Elizabeth
TO TAKE PLACE NEXT MONTH (British Official Wireless.) Received Thursday, 6.30 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 3. Arrangements are in for the launching ceremony of the Queen Elizabeth on September 27. Special provision has been necessary to cope with the problem of coincidence of traffic, due to the huge crowds anticipated on tho south bank of the Clyde opposite Messrs. John Brown’s yard, with the traffic to the Glasgow Exhibition.
