Fire Brigade Ball
TJie Palmerston Norfcli Fire Brigade old-time ball, which is to bo held in the A. and P. hall at tho Showgrounds ou Wednesday, August 24, will bo the biggest and brightest ball the brigade haa yet held. There will be six hours of old-time dancing to an orchestra of seven players amids* wonderful decorations and a delicious sit-down supper. Twelve gross of novelties will be distributed amongst the dancers and carparking will be free on the ground. This ball will bo "the ball of the year. ’ ’
