Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Thompson, who have been holidaying in Auckland, have returned to Pahiatua. Mr. Bernard Fairweather, who underwent an operation in the Pahiatua Public Hospital recently, is reported to be making an excellent recovery. Nurse Berry has returned to Eketahuna after a month's visit to Tauranga, where she was the guest of Mrs. M. C. Mackie. Mr. Oscar Stone, who was a resident of Konini for 17 years and was employed at the Konini dairy faetory, has taken over the duties of manager of the Eketahuna Dairy Company.
