Expert on Defence
AUSTRALIAN APPOINTMENT LONDON, July 26. { Mr. R. R. Sedgwick, who is ranked as a principal at tho Dominions Office, has been appointed to succeed Mr. P. Liesohing, as official secretary to the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Australia, says the political correspondent of the Australian Associated Press. Mr. Sedgwick will go to Canberra in September. Tho appointment, which is for throe years, is significant in that Mr. Sedgwick is an expert on govern- | mental aspects of Imperial defence.
