HEAVY DEATH ROLL IN JULY

Received Tuesday, Midnight. JERUSALEM, Aug. 2.

One member of the Black Watch was killed and two wounded in a battle with brigands near Kafrjellud. The battle developed after shots were fired at a military convoy. Six brigands were killed.

The casualties in July throughout Palestine were 148 Arabs and 60 Jews killed and -50 Arabs and 201 Jews wounded.
