From Our Own Correspondent On Tuesday evening the B grade team from Takaro Tennis ciub visited Miisoi for their match in the first rotlnd of the competitions, the visitors winning by 27 games to 9. Details were as follow, Milson players being mentioned first: — Miss S. Leask lost to M. McPherson, R Watt; beat B. Bamberry, C. McPherson, B. McMurray, R. Stanley. Miss F. Leask lost to M. McPherson, Watt, Bamoerry, Stanley; beat C. McPherson and McMurray. D. McGregor lost to M. McPherson. Watt, Bamberry. McMurray, Stanley; beat C. McPherson. L. Sixtus lost to M. McPherson, Watt, Bamberry, McMurray, Stanley; beat C. McPherson. E. Bulmer lost to M. McPherson, Watt, Bamberry, C. McPherson, Stanley; oeat McMurray. G. Leasx lost to M. and C. McPherson, Watt, Bamberry, McMurray. and Stanley. The C grade team were drawn to play St. Patrick's Club, at Milson. and won by default. Personal. Miss J. Richfield, who has been the guest of Mrs E. Bulmer, Montreal street, has left for Otaki. Mr N. Bracken, who has been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for some time, spent a few days wi*n Mrs E. Bulmer before returning to Otaki on Saturday.
