Cholera Vaccine

CHINESE APPEAL TO LEAGUE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, July 30. The Chinese Health Administration requested the Secretary-General of the League of Nations for assistance in obtaining 6-million doses of cholera vaccine owing to the rapid extension oi *ihe epidemic among the populations ol China. The Secretary-General, after or dering one-million doses at the near est bacteriological institute for immediate delivery, asked for the collaboration of national institutes in countries participating in the work of the Eastern Bureau of the League, the Singapore, European and American institutions. The Singapore Bureau subsequently reports that important gifts of vaccine have been received to date.
