Fatality While Fishing
Three Men Drowned At Sydney Heads WASHED OFF LEDGE United Press Association.-—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.30 p.m. SYDNEY, July 31. Three men were washed off a lodge on the North Head this afternoon while fishing and wero drowned. Two others who attempted to rescue them had narrow escapes from death. The men had climbed down a 300-ft. cliff to a flat ridge when a big wave came over and swept them into the water. A heavy sea was running and they were unable to regain tho rocks. The deceased were: Charles Coleman, aged 32; his brother, Mervyn, aged about 30; and Harry Blackbridge, aged 30. All were residents of Redfern suburb. The bodies have not yet been recovered.
