FUNDS TO SEND HIM ABROAD Per Press Association. WANGANUI, July 30. Mr. Colin Horsley, the 18-year-old Wanganui pianist, who is regarded a: the possessor of exceptional musical talent, has left for England where he will continue his musical studies under a scholarship for two years at the Royal College of Music, London. An for funds to help sen<? him abroad produced £531, including £203 from donations in and rounc Wanganui, £97 from recitals by th« Wanganui Technical College, of whict he is an old boy, Wanganui Collegiate School, Wanganui Girls’ College, Nge tawa School, Woodford House, New Plymouth Boys High School and the British Musical Societies at Hastings and Palmerston North. The sum oi £135 was raised in Auckland by a committee led by Mr. T. Scott. A fa el] concert in Wanganui produced £94.
