Palmerston North visitors to Wellington are Mr. and Mrs. B. Hannah. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Brown have returned to Palmerston North after a motor tour in the north. Recent arrivals to take up their residence in the city are Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Poole, of Wanganui. | Mr. and Mrs. J .C. Young, of Palmerston North, and Mr. Young’s sister, Mrs. William Clark Fyfe, of Taranaki, !are staying in London till the autumn, states an English exchange.
' Mrs. W. J. Carey has arrived from 11 Wellington to make her homo in Palmerston North. At present she is the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. Thomson, College street. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. McConkey have returned to Palmerston North after spending their wedding trip on an extensivo tour of the South Island, including the southern lakes, and leave this evening for their new home at Kihi Kihi, To Awamutu.
Mrs. Jack Bond, of Sydney, aftor a visit of six weeks to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Newton Broad, of Feilding, left last Friday by the Awatea ou her return to Australia, and was farewelled at Wellington by her mother and Mrs. W. M. Horton, of Feilding. Mr. and Mrs. Bond are shortly leaving Sydney to live in Melbourne.,
