Trio of Artists Provide Musical Treat

Miss Joan Paton’a violin-ccllo recital to aid the Alan Lovedav fund on Monday evening attracted tho friendly interest of many music lovers who are watching tho career of this clever young performer. The beautiful room graced with golden Iceland poppies and tall palms made an ideal setting for such an occasion, and further colour was provided by the wealth of floral emblems and other decorative tokens handed to Miss Patou and the assisting artists. Miss Paton wore a becoming frock

of gold and rose shot taffeta, Mrs. Rickard appearing in cameo pink velvet relieved with a deeper shade while Miss Feist had chosen a model frock of ivory georgette patterned with blue and red, her sash being in the same shades.
