Foxton Borough Jubilee

Foxton was constituted a Borough on the 18th April, 1888, and the jubilee celebrations are being held during the period 21st to 24th April, 1938, both days inclusive. One of the features of the celebrations will be an Old Identities luncheon on Thursday the 24th instant, and the committee is very desirous that this should be a representative gathering. To assist in achieving this object will you be good enough therefore, to publish this appeal to all residents who attained the age of 25 years during 1888 and 1908, and who resided in the town or nearby for at least 5 years during that period, requesting them to communicate with the Mayor of Foxton (Mr M. E. Perreau) in order that invitations may be sent to them.
