NQ HURRICANE THIS YEAR Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The effect of Fiji’s escape from a hurricane this season on the prosperity of Fiji was referred to by Rt. Rev. Dr. L. Kenipthorno, Bishop in Polynesia, who arrived in Auckland by tho Niagara. Dr. Kempthorne has come to the Dominion to attend a meeting on the Hoard of Missions and will return to Fiji in about six weeks’ time. At this time of the year, he said, people in Fiji Avere anxious whether theie would be a hurricane. The hurricane season was almost over, and (Tie people were hoping they would escape this year. Fiji was, consequently, more prosperous.
