Sergt. Bonisch Farewelled
TRIBUTES FROM BENCH AND BAB From Our Owh Corrr.Donfle:if.. NAPIER, La»t Night. Sergt. G. Bonisch, who leaves Napier next week to take charge at Pahiatua, was fare-welled at the Magistrate’s Court at Nepie-, where he appeared for the las- tin, this morning. “He has the Ideal manner of putting ell the facts before the Court, whether they are in his favour or not," said Mr. J. Millar, S.M., when he took the opportunity during this morning’s Court to thank Sergeant Bonisch for the fair and able way in which he had conducted his prosecutions. Mr. Millar thanked the sergeant for his assistance end wished him happiness in his new surroundings. Mr. H. B. Lusk, on behalf of the members of the legal profession, said they had always had the greatest courtesy from Sergeant Bonisch, end he had always given ready assistance when asked. The speaker had been impressed with the entirely fair and able way in which the sergeant put his cases. They wished him success and happiness in his career. Sergeant Bonisch thanked the Bench and Bar, and said that he was very sorry indeed to sever his connection with the Napier Court and legal profession. The members of the profusion had helped to make his work easier.
