TO ATHLETES AND CYCLISTS — Competitors in both cycling and running events will be interested to know that considerable work hus been put in this year in improving the Track and we are sure this fact will be much appreciated. CONDITIONS. Athletic Events run under the rules of the N.Z.A.A. Association. Nominations iu Events 1,2, 3, 4. IJ, 13 and 14 close with tho Secretary on Saturday April 2nd, accompanied by nomination fees and record of performances of last two years. If no performances have been made in that time, four last performances to be given. All competitors in Athletic events must wear their 1938 Registered Numbers. Entries must be made on N.Z.A.A. forms and will not be accepted unless accompanied by entrance fee. Competitors in all events compete at thoir own risk. Dancing Events run under the Rules of the North Island Association of Caledonian Societies. . Three competitors or no event; four competitors or no second prize; six competitors or no third prize. The Sports Committee reserves the right of making any alteration in the Programme. Handicaps will be published in “The Examiner,’' “Manawatu Times,” ft Dannevirke Evening News” and
